The UCSD Center for Mindfulness is a multi-faceted program of clinical care, professional training, education, research and outreach intended to further the practice and integration of mindfulness into all aspects of society.

We offer a broad range of mindfulness-based programs and initiatives. Whether your interest in mindfulness is personal or professional, on behalf of a young family member or your workplace, or if you are just curious about what it is, you are invited to explore our online home. The Center is a program of the UC San Diego Center for Integrative Medicine and Department of Psychiatry.

The UCSD Center for Mindfulness (UCSD CFM) has established itself as a leader in the field of mindfulness-based professional training, relying upon the model of retreat-style professional trainings that blend mindfulness practice, immersion in the interventions being taught, and top-notch teachers with strong credentials and experience in those interventions. Augmenting and complimenting this lineup in the coming year are a number of new types of offerings and programs, including one- and two-day workshops on special mindfulness-related topics (self-compassion, parenting, relationships) and for specific professions (nurses, educators, physicians) and our second annual Bridging the Hearts and Minds of Youth: Mindfulness in Clinical Practice, Education and Research conference in February 2014.

Take a moment to review our offerings and click on the link to be added to our email list to be alerted of notable additions.
