Now Is Upon Us

By Jon Dunnemann

How do we identify and promote international best practices in civic engagement in community, critical consciousness, socioemotional skill development, political opportunity, urban planning, environmental sustainability, and wisdom acquisition? The endgame being to create a movement that empowers young people to make deep changes within themselves as well as outside and on to the physical spaces which they inhabit.

This is the leadership direction that I have chosen to head for in 2017. Together, I hope that we are able to intentionally meet at the intersection between the past and the future in a much healthier, more purposeful, truly meaningful, and most valued presence. The mission is to work creatively and effectively at repairing the world at the local level for the benefit of our children's children given the very precious but limited time that we have left as baby-boomers.

Many of us have now either entered into the 3rd or 4th quarter of the game of life expectancy and yet there's still a great deal of work that needs to be done to make ready the next generation for keeping their values completely intact.

Now is upon us. Let's come together and show them "The Way of the Heart: A Shared Inward Journey!!"
